With warmer climates and wine acreage doubling in the last decade, the UK's production is making an entrance in the international wine scene.

Year after year we're growing better grapes, and generations of English and Welsh wine makers are honing down their recipes. Our bottles are being exported to over 25 different countries, with English sparkling wines beating Champagne in several blind tasting awards. And if that's not enough, occasionally switching your New Zealand chardonnay for a British bottle means cutting your carbon footprint AND supporting local businesses.

Not bad for pouring yourself a glass!

What the producers are saying

" The importance of eating locally sourced food is well-documented in the UK. But there's little emphasis given to drinking the liquid equivalent. In Europe, especially France, there's a great tradition of drinking local with the output of some wine regions almost entirely consumed by locals. To drink local wine is to support important community networks and economies as well as championing those producers who've added an extra taste dimension to the county's food and drinks profile. Wine has too many interesting variations to only drink local, but there's definitely scope to support and explore the wonderful wines that English vineyards are now producing. " Wine making is Britain fastest growth industry, now we just have to try it all!’ "

What our customers are saying

" I ordered a bottle of English red for my husbands birthday, I was impressed with the selection as I'd found it quite difficult to find English red online. I placed my order and received an email quickly after explaining that the company do not usually ship one bottle and so needed to order packaging for me and if I was happy to wait. I found this excellent customer service and of course was happy to wait! The wine was excellent and we will be ordering again. Would thoroughly recommend.  "

- Sarah B, customer from Romford

" We absolutely love the wines from neighbourly grape, all the ones we have tried all taste entirely different and delicious. You can tell that all the wines chosen have been carefully thought about. We particularly enjoy the Hambledon which we personally think is better than any champagne! We would recommend English wine to anyone now and to anyone wanting to try English wine we couldn't recommend the neighbourly grape more highly  "
