Rosé Tinted Spectacles

Rosé wine is making a come back!

We're drinking it at summer BBQs; we're even making fancy frosé. And with English rosé making up 10% of our UK wine production there's a pink bottle for everyone.

Quick rule of thumb, the paler the colour the lighter the wine. Or if you fancy a fruitier punch, go for the darker pinks. Enjoy!

10 things

we love about rosé

1. August 14th is International rosé day

– who knew? The date has been carefully chosen as the midway point from Valentine’s Day and a perfect excuse to indulge in a sip or two of pretty pink.

2. Let’s break the myth of the second class status that has been attached to the old style rosé and acknowledge today’s beautifully diverse and complex range of wines, which offer variety in both taste and colour.
